Honda Recalls Fit Sport for OverSteer

Honda is recalling 44,000 Fit Sport models because the electronic stability control can cause oversteer thereby increasing the risk of spinning out or crashing. The latest recall was prompted by NHTSA testing, which showed excessive yaw rates both time the tests were conducted on Dunlap tires. Computer programming is the cause of the safety problem. Honda Recalls 748,000 Pilot, Odyssey Models for Defective Airbags

Honda is recalling 2009-2013 Pilot crossover models and 2011-2013 Odyssey minivans built in Alabama because rivets that attach the airbag module to the airbag cover may be missing. Honda Recalls 50,000 2012 Civic Models for Bad Driveshafts

American Honda will recall approximately 50,000 model-year 2012 Civic vehicles in the United States to inspect and, if necessary, replace the left driveshaft in its latest quality gaff. The driver’s side driveshaft may not have been properly assembled, potentially allowing it to separate from the outer CV joint (constant velocity) while in operation, Honda said in a statement today.
