American Honda is announcing this recall to encourage owners of affected vehicles to take them to an authorized dealer for repair as soon as they receive notification. Owners of these vehicles can also determine if their vehicles require repair by visiting www.recalls.honda.com, or by calling (888) 234-2138.
Dealer notification is scheduled to begin and end on or about 11/17/2025. Owner notification is scheduled to begin and end on or about 1/5/2026.

Chronology
• March 8, 2024 – Honda received a report of the issue and began to investigate.
• June 9, 2025 – Honda and the ICM CPU supplier discovered a potential cause and continued to investigate the issue.
• October 23, 2025 – Honda began to analyze the regulatory requirements in affected countries and quarantined potentially affected vehicles.
• October 27, 2025 – Honda identified potential safety related symptoms and continued to investigate and analyze the issue.
• November 6, 2025 – Honda determined that a defect related to motor vehicle safety existed and decided to conduct a safety recall.
• As of November 6, 2025 – Honda has had 832 warranty claims and no reports of an injury or death related to this issue from December 14, 2022, through October 31, 2025.
