Honda said it is a longtime supporter of the Red Cross. During the past three decades, the company has provided support following disaster events affecting communities near its facilities as well as large scale national disasters, such as the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks and Hurricane Katrina. Earlier this year, Honda supported Red Cross relief efforts for communities impacted by wildfires in Los Angeles, where the company has been part of the community for more than 60 years. Honda also supported recovery efforts together with the Red Cross and other organizations in 2024 after tornadoes struck near its manufacturing plants in Ohio and in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
