“Across California, 75 California Climate Investments programs administered by 23 state agencies are continuing to direct billions of dollars into the state’s transition to a low-carbon, more equitable future. During 2022, California Climate Investments programs implemented nearly $1.3 billion, in addition to $1.3 billion in expenditures by the High-Speed Rail Project, bringing the cumulative total to $9.3 billion. These dollars are delivering major economic, environmental, and public health benefits for Californians, including meaningful benefits to the most disadvantaged communities and low-income communities and households,” said CCI.
