The Nanjing plant in China began producing the five-door hatchback and four-door sedan versions of the new global Fiesta for the Chinese market on January 15, 2009. Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Company manufacturing facility in Nanjing is the world’s first facility to produce the 4-door sedan as well as the five-door hatchback.
