“Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures, charge outside, and limit their charge to a maximum of 90% until the recall repair is complete. As an interim repair, the battery software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update to limit the state of charge to 90%. The final remedy is currently under development,” Jaguar said in the mandatory safety defect filing made public by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) this morning.
The final remedy is under development. Repairs will be performed free of charge as required by U.S. safety regulations. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are not expected to be mailed until 3 April 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Jaguar’s customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar’s numbers for this recall are H570, H571, and H572. This recall replaces NHTSA recall numbers 23V369, 23V709, and 24V085. Vehicles repaired under one or more of the previous recalls will need to have the new remedy completed.
