Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] will hold a virtual Annual Meeting of Shareholders beginning at 8:30 a.m. EDT on Thursday 11 May 2017. For the first time, the annual meeting is being conducted through an audio broadcast accessible from a computer, tablet or smart phone.
Executives – phantom sounds on the web – will thereby be insulated from personal contact with stockholders and not subject to photographs. Members of the news media will be able to access the meeting through a listen-only audio webcast.
Shareholders will be able to listen, vote and submit questions from any remote location with internet connectivity. Shareholders and news media will be able to log in 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting by visiting www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/FORD.
