Bentley Motors today is delivering the first Bentayga SUV to customers, at the company’s global headquarters in Crewe. Touted as a major milestone in Bentley’s history, the truck is the brand’s fourth model line built in Crewe alongside the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Mulsanne.
Bentayga is said to be the fastest and most luxurious SUV in the world. The 6.0-litre twin turbo W12 engine receives a power and torque increase to 590 PS (582 horsepower / 434 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb. ft.).
Guests at the event in Crewe were given access to Bentley’s factory to see the Bentayga’s assembly process. People involved in the car’s design, engineering and craftsmanship did presentations. About 130 hours are needed to produce one.
