Nissan 2023 Versa Debuts at Miami Auto Show

The mildly tweaked 2023 Versa will debut at the Miami Auto Show this weekend, Nissan said today. The five-passenger compact sedan is notable for its price – starting around $17,000 this year, and an increasingly rare five-speed manual transmission.

It’s the usual mid-cycle freshening with a changed front fascia and grille. New options include a wireless device charging pad, Wi-Fi hotspot and an 8-inch touchscreen. Claimed compact class exclusive items are optional Intelligent Cruise Control³, wireless phone charging⁴ and Rear Automatic Braking⁵.

The 2023 Versa goes on sale this fall, with a choice of S, SV and SR grades. Pricing will be announced closer to its on-sale date. Lost in a sea of SUV offerings, marketing has made standard several previously optional items are now standard, The new S Plus package adds Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ to Versa’s accessible S grade. Versa claims the most standard safety features in its class² : Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Automatic Braking and High Beam Assist. Available technologies include Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
