General Motors North American President Alan Batey unveils the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible this morning in Detroit. The Camaro convertible has a hard tonneau cover that deploys automatically, when the top is lowered and stowed. It opens or closes at speeds up to 30 mph. In 1967 – Camaro’s first model year – the top was manually operated. The power top, a $52.70 option, was selected by 47% of buyers.
