Kia America (Kia) is recalling ~463000 2020-2024 Telluride vehicles. The front power-seat motor may overheat due to a stuck power seat slide knob or an improper repair of NHTSA recall 24V407. This safety defect can cause a fire while parked or driving.

“Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete,” Kia said in the mandatory safety defect filing that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) made public this morning.
