Porsche Macan S Recall for Leaking Fuel Line

A Porsche Macan S Recall is now active for model year 2015-2016  More than 21,000 crossover models have a bad low-pressure fuel line that leaks. An improved low-pressure line will be installed that has more effective clamps when the parts can be manufactured.

There have been no reports worldwide of accidents, injuries, or vehicle fires because of this safety defect according to Porsche in the required NHTSA filing.

Porsche mailed an interim notification to owners on 9 November 2015 and will mail a second notice when parts are available. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243 about Macan S recall AF06.
