Subaru Beats All Time US Sales Record

Worrisome though are the remarks of Yasuyuki Yoshinaga, president of Subaru-maker Fuji Heavy Industries at the Tokyo Motor show last month. Yoshinaga told Automotive News that Subaru will cap maximum annual global production at 1.03 million vehicles. This can increase to 1.1 million vehicles using overtime. No new factories are foreseen. GM Global Vehicle Sales at 7.2 Million Vehicles through Q3 2015

The global sales leadership race between General Motors and Toyota, Volkswagen and General Motors remains too close to call as GM sold 7.2 million vehicles during the first nine months of 2015 a decline of -3%. Toyota Motor’s global sales for the same period totaled 7.498 million vehicles, off -1.5%, but still enough to best Volkswagen Group at a flat 7.43 million vehicles. Continue reading

In third place behind the Ford F-Series and Chevrolet Silverado pickups, the Toyota Camry again led the offshore brand sales at 38,435 units. China Light Vehicle Sales Drop Again in May

China Light Vehicle sales continued to decline in May, with year‐on‐year (YoY) growth in sales of locally‐made models dropping to 1.4%, marking the lowest level since September 2012 when the Sino‐Japan islands disputes disrupted the market.
