“The new hybrid exhaust systems engineered for the BMW M5 G90 4.4-litre V8 plug-in hybrid and Porsche 992.2 Carerra 3.6-litre hybrid join a growing catalogue of Milltek exhaust systems for modern classics as well as current Porsche and BMW models,” Milltek said.

The new Milltek exhaust for the BMW M5 G90 PHEV, is rated by Milltek at a total power output of 727 horsepower. There is a non-resonated particulate filter back system “providing enhanced sound and a bigger difference between valves open and closed. Milltek valve technology works with the existing valve control with the option of a Milltek valve controller to allow the driver to override factory settings. It is available now for UK and USA versions (and the rest of the world) and also suitable for the G99 Touring model with a choice of polished stainless, cerakote black, brushed titanium or burnt titanium exhaust trims.

Milltek’s engineers have also developed OPF/GPF back system for the 478 horsepower Porsche 992.2 GTS Hybrid. This is currently a prototype, but production is expected to start soon.
