AutoInformed.com on McLaren Vision L’Amy EyewearMcLaren and L’Amy have announced their collaboration and the launch of a McLaren Vision Collection. Available with range of lens options later in 2019, the 3D-printed titanium frames and “floating” lenses and 3D facial scan of wearer ensures the “comfort fit.” Prices have yet to be disclosed.

Available as both sunglasses and prescription eyeglasses, a claimed  unique style is created by L’Amy in partnership with design teams from both McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing. The lenses, including the option of Leica sun lenses, are fixed within the frames at two contact points. As well as a dramatic appearance, the “floating” structure ensures the glasses are light and strong.

The collection will be available to buy from selected specialist retailers from spring 2019.  More details will then be given on the full Collection.
