Aussie Will Power Wins the 102nd Indianapolis 500 for Penske

Penske has done far better than Chevrolet with 17 victories in the run for the Hoosier milk, which Power spilled all over himself, the parade Queen and others in the winner’s circle. Along side him his wife, Elizabeth Cannon Power, was lovingly hysterical and elated when she started breathing again and could speak – was as entertaining as the race. Continue reading →

Roger Penske to Pace the Indianapolis 500 in a Camaro SS

The announcement came days before Penske Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: PAG) announced today record first quarter 2016 results. For the three months ended March 31, 2016, income from continuing operations attributable to common shareholders increased 4.2% to $79.3 million, and related earnings per share increased 7.1% to $0.90 when compared to the same period last year. Pagenaud in a Honda Wins Inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis

Starting fourth, Pagenaud avoided a multi-car crash at the standing start that eliminated his Schmidt Peterson Motorsports teammate, Mikail Aleshin, and fellow Honda driver Carlos Munoz, when pole-qualifier Sebastian Saavedra stalled at the line, resulting in an eight-lap caution period to begin the race. If anyone was watching, the prolonged yellow no doubt sent viewers to the real action of Major League Baseball or the Stanley Cup playoffs. Continue reading →
