Chrysler Recalls 2012 Ram 1500 Over a Decal

Chrysler Group will conduct a voluntary safety recall of approximately 129 U.S. market 2012 Ram 1500 pickup trucks to fix what it says is mismatched spare-tire information placards.

The affected vehicles have a spare tire that does not match the specifications listed on the tire placard. These Ram pickup trucks fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110, “tire selection and rims.” The recalled Rams pickups were produced on January 5 and 6, 2012.
