American Honda said today that it posted sales increases in June, Q2 and thereby leading to relatively strong First Half Sales Increase of 8.4%.
“The Honda and Acura brands continue to buck industry trends with sales increases in June and the second quarter as our strong sales momentum continues through the first half of the year,” said Lance Woelfer, vice president of Auto Sales at American Honda Motor Co. Inc. “Driven by the success of all-new products like the Honda Passport and Acura ADX, and record sales of electrified models we continue to meet customer needs and manage changing market conditions.”
Honda Sales Highlights
- Honda light truck posts strong sales: up 11.8% in Q2 despite lean inventory of key models.
- CR-V neared 30,000 units, maintaining strong sales with second best Q2 of all-time.
- HR-V sales neared 11,000 units in June despite lean inventory.
- Pilot June sales topped 9000 units despite lean inventory .
- All-new Passport, up 66.1% YTD, averaging over 5000 per month April -June, setting a new Q2 record.
- Prologue June sales of 2799 units; maintain more than 2700-unit monthly average.
- Odyssey sales of 9542 units in June help boost it up 24.4% for Q2.
- Ridgeline posted a record June sales month with 4767 units.
- Honda passenger car sales: top 31,000 units, boosted by all-time best June and Q2 sales (23,859) for Civic hybrid; Accord sales over 56% hybrid YTD.
- Record electrified sales: best June, Q2 and YTD sales led by CR-V hybrid, Accord hybrid and Civic hybrid, along with the Prologue EV.
Acura Sales Highlights
- Acura June sales of 10,912 units were up 6.8% year-to-date and 11.2% in Q2, with SUVs posting best Q2 since 2021.
- New ADX premium gateway crossover had its best month at nearly 2000 units, as increased supply continues to spur sales growth.
- MDX and RDX reach 5488 units in June, impacted by leaner inventory due to final big retooling of East Liberty Auto Plant.
- All-electric ZDX totaled more than 1300 units in June for its best sales quarter since launch despite lean inventory in preparation for the 2026 model.
- Integra tops 1400 units to continue big lead in gateway sedan segment.
