BMW is continuing its merchandising with Montblanc via a five-piece luggage set that’s made-to-measure for the trunk (AKA boot) of the BMW 8 Series Coupé. Manufacturer’s recommended retail price is €14,900 or the price of a small economy car. The Montblanc x BMW Luggage Set is available now at BMW Welt in Munich.

The Montblanc x BMW Luggage Set is handcrafted in that famous Bavarian city, Florence, in perforated black or red leather with black darts. This limited edition set of 15 has a guitar bag, a surf bag, a duffel bag, a suit bag and a leather case – five different models designed to fit together.

The professional guitar bag has a detachable shoulder strap. Worn to the side or as a backpack, the strap gives the bag a “modern twist.” The guitar bag is lined inside with, ahem, neoprene protection for its contents, while two front pockets offer space for music notes, guitar accessories and perhaps legalized weed.

The round surf bag has a large main compartment and a separate compartment for accessories. Shoulder straps mean the surf bag can be worn comfortably as a backpack.

The classic duffel bag has space for designer sweats in the main compartment. The duffel bag also has two separate zip compartments for shoes and accessories.

The double-folding suit bag with a compartment system allows clothes, cufflinks and accessories all to be stored separately.

The sturdy leather case with a handle has a large main compartment with elastic straps, three zip compartments and two large sections for accessories.
