Takata to NHTSA – Drop Dead

Since 2008, ten of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world that use Takata air bags have recalled more than 10 million cars in the United States – more than 17 million globally – to replace inflators. More Chrysler Group Recalls on Dodge and Jeep SUVs

A week after Chrysler Group’s dismal finish on the initial quality survey from Consumer Reports and the firing of its head of quality control, the company is recalling its best-selling Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee models for defective airbags and malfunctioning electronic stability controls. GM Sued for $10 billion over Defective Ignition Switches

The complaints seek money for violations of state consumer protection laws, breach of implied warranties, fraud by concealment, unjust enrichment and violation of the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Giant Safety Recall at Ford for Bad Airbags

Ford Motor Company is recalling 850,050 2013-14 model C-MAX, Fusion, Escape and Lincoln MKZ vehicles in North America because the airbags may not deploy.
