
Eligible Kia certified used vehicles can be no more than five model years old.
Kia Motors America – KMA – today announced that it is adding Carfax used vehicle reports to Certified Pre-Owned sales program. KMA will provide every used vehicle with a free Carfax Vehicle History Report.
Starting this month, Kia dealers with the CPO Program are required to run a Carfax Vehicle History Report as part of the certification process for CPO vehicles. The Kia CPO Program is administered by one of the largest independent finance and insurance leaders, JM&A Group.
Kia’s decision means that 32 manufacturer brands that have chosen Carfax for their Certified Pre-Owned vehicles.
A Carfax Report is provided for used Kia-brand vehicles eligible for CPO certification, which have less than 60,000 miles and are no more than five model years old. All Kia CPO vehicles pass a 150-point inspection. Program benefits include a long-term 10-year/100,000 mile Kia CPO Program limited powertrain warranty (from the first sale date) and 10-year, unlimited mileage roadside assistance.
