Used Car Sales Soften in October

Used-car sales in October were 3,162,085, up only 0.29% compared to a year ago. Versus September used vehicle sales were down 16.9%. Used Vehicles Sales Strong in December. Trucks in Demand

With 80% of all workers commuting in vehicles, 38,711,288 previously owned cars and trucks have changed title so far this year with a total value from all three channels based on transaction prices at $29.12 billion, up +7.8% compared $27.01 billion in the comparable period. 2012 Used Vehicle Sales at 40.5 Million Highest Since 2007

Used car sales during 2012 in the United States topped more than 40.5 million cars and light trucks, according the consultancy CNW. This is the best year since 2007, and represents an increase of 4.5% when compared to 2011’s 38.8 million. Continue reading
