“Emotion… Desire… Excitement… these are mere words that only attempt to describe the true experience behind the wheel of this all-new M Performance model. And once again BMW proves that “M” is the most powerful letter in the world,” said Ludwig Willisch.

BMW X4 M40i made its world debut at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit today. With 355 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque, and a newly developed M Performance TwinPower Turbo  inline 6-cylinder engine, M40i will reach an electronically-limited top speed of 150 mph. At the moment, X4 M40i has best-in-class acceleration of zero-to-60 mph in 4.7 seconds.

BMW claims design and technology are also at their peak, including a powerful yet efficient exterior chassis tuned to M Performance specifications, BMW ConnectedDrive, intelligent xDrive and TwinScroll turbo technology.

The 2016 BMW X4 M40i will be available at certified BMW dealers in February 2016 starting at $57,800 plus Destination and Handling.
