“The Acura business foundation is sharply focused on the needs of the customer, delivering new products that offer value for money on a premium level, and increasing our speed to market to ensure that our products are highly competitive and meet the latest market conditions, said Fujimura.”

The SUV Products Coming

  • New Acura adventure-ready SUV set to arrive in the first part of 2028.
  • All-new fourth-generation Acura RDX (previously announced), coming to market in 2028, will be first Acura model to feature the company’s award-winning two-motor hybrid-electric technology.
  • New Acura 8-passenger SUV – its largest ever – currently in development.
  • New V6 hybrid powertrain in development for Acura D-Segment models.

“Acura is entering the most popular segments in the market while maintaining a leading position in gateway segments with Integra and ADX, to solidify a strong and sustainable future,” said Gary Robinson, Vice President of Auto Strategy at American Honda.

“By delivering value-driven, premium products, Acura is outpacing the luxury industry through the first 9 months of the year – growing faster than several established luxury competitors. Through the first three quarters of 2026, Acura has posted a year-over-year sales increase of 4.4%. The Acura MDX, the industry’s best-selling three-row luxury SUV of all time, has seen impressive growth of more than 25%, while the brand’s gateway models – ADX and Integra – both lead their segments in retail sales. All three models will receive meaningful enhancements for the 2027 model year, further increasing customer value and competitiveness,” Acura said in a release.

“At a time when Acura continues to outpace the luxury market with products focused on delivering customer value, our dealers were incredibly excited about our plans to expand the Acura lineup” said Jessika Laudermilk, assistant vice president of Acura National Sales. “Affordability is more important than ever, so there couldn’t be a better time to have strong gateway models like ADX and Integra continue to bring new buyers to the brand while retaining our loyal customers.”

It’s the beginning of a perfect lap. AutoInformed has an editorial philosophy that loves transportation machines of all kinds while promoting critical thinking about the future use of cars and trucks. Zino builds AutoInformed from his background in automotive journalism starting at Hearst Publishing in New York City on Motor and MotorTech Magazines and car testing where he reviewed hundreds of vehicles in his decade-long stint as the Detroit Bureau Chief of Road & Track magazine.
