American Honda (NYSE: HMC) said today that sales totaled 102,824 units in November. Year-to-date sales were up a meager 1.8%. An industry-wide semiconductor supply shortage was a factor. “Both the Honda and Acura brands continue to benefit from strong sales of all-new vehicles with balanced sales across light trucks and passenger cars along with a new annual sales record from electrified models,” American Honda claimed.

Honda

  • Honda brand totaled sales of 91,582 units in November, up 1.8% year-to-date “driven by strong sales of light trucks and electrified models in spite of production challenges.”
  • Led by record November sales of the all-new Passport, Honda light truck sales posted the 10th straight month with sales of more than 60,000 units.
  • Passport had a record November (4363), up 73% YTD.
  • CR-V led all Honda models in November (29,421), with hybrid sales accounting for more than 54% of sales mix.
  • HR-V (10,821) and Pilot (9234) has relatively strong months. Ridgeline (3352) and Odyssey (5492) are both up year-to-date.
  • Honda passenger car sales ~28,000 units, led by Civic with 17,353 units and Accord with 10,613 including ~47% hybrid mix.
  • Civic hybrid set a new November sales record of 6426 (37% of mix).
  • Honda November sales of electrified vehicles totaled 28,258 units (30.9% of brand sales), setting a new annual record with year-to-date sales of 385,453 units.

Acura

  • Acura brand sales totaled 11,242 units in November, with 2025 sales, topping 121,000 units, up 1.9% year-to-date.
  • The lower priced duo of Integra and ADX reached a best-ever combined sales of 4781 units with ADX also posting a new monthly sales record of 2837. ADX has captured a segment-leading share of over 30% since its introduction this spring.
  • Acura SUV sales totaled 8659 units in November, up 6.5% year-to-date with MDX and RDX combining for 5800 units – their best sales month since May.
  • Acura sedan sales topped 2500 units with Integra reaching 1944 units in November, its best month since April, as it continues to lead its segment with 37% share.
