Ford Motor (NYSE:F) said today that it is now offering Bronco owners who have attended the complimentary Bronco Off-Rodeo – an immersive driving school available to new Bronco, Bronco Sport, and Bronco Raptor owners the chance to bring their own Bronco to an advanced dirt driving program so to speak.

“Ninety percent of Bronco Off-Roadeo participants say they want to return and learn even more,” said Kelsey Gerken, Bronco consumer strategy manager at Ford. “Bring Your Own Bronco gives them that chance, expanding the Off-Roadeo experience to two unique, four-hour courses that further grow a Bronco owner’s skillset.” Bronco Off-Roadeo is an immersive and complimentary driving experience available to new Bronco, Bronco Sport, and Bronco Raptor owners, teaching safe and responsible off-road driving, building confidence and fostering camaraderie across the Bronco community.

“Next Level Off-Road builds on the fundamentals, with a sharper focus on reading terrain, line selection and vehicle technology to navigate real-world obstacles. Drivers will practice safe, efficient ascents and descents, improve their throttle and brake control and learn how to communicate effectively with a spotter – all while engaging features such as Trail Control, Rock Crawl Camera and electronic locking differentials in real driving scenarios. The experience is tailored to the capabilities of the participating Bronco vehicles, ranging from a base model to a fully loaded Raptor,” said Ford. “The session teaches Bronco owners how to assess trail risks, execute safe winch recoveries and use tools such as soft shackles, tree savers and recovery boards. With a focus on real-time decision making and responsible recovery techniques, the program builds confidence in handling the unexpected — whether it’s helping a friend out of a tough spot or getting yourself unstuck without damaging your rig,” Ford claimed.

It’s part of a growing slate of Off-Roadeo experiences that includes the complimentary full-day program for new owners and a half-day adventure option for guests who don’t own a Bronco. Ford also hosts special programs for veterans.

It’s the beginning of a perfect lap. AutoInformed has an editorial philosophy that loves transportation machines of all kinds while promoting critical thinking about the future use of cars and trucks. Zino builds AutoInformed from his background in automotive journalism starting at Hearst Publishing in New York City on Motor and MotorTech Magazines and car testing where he reviewed hundreds of vehicles in his decade-long stint as the Detroit Bureau Chief of Road & Track magazine.
