January 2015 FCA U.S. Sales up 14%
FCA US today reported U.S. sales of 145,007 units, a 14% gain compared with sales in January 2014 of 127,183 units. It was the group’s best January sales result since 2007. Continue reading
GM U.S. January Sales up 18% on Trucks
The gains were largely the result of booming truck and crossover demand. Year-over-year pickup deliveries increased 42%, following last month’s 43% increase. Large pickup sales were up 22% and more than 8000 all-new mid-size trucks were delivered. GM is the only U.S.-based automaker competing in this segment that Ford once dominated with its now abandoned Ranger. Continue reading

Used-car sales in October were 3,162,085, up only 0.29% compared to a year ago. Versus September used vehicle sales were down 16.9%.
