Porsche Dominates Le Mans and sister Group Company Audi

Ford GT to Run in GTE Pro Next Year at Le Mans
Both the production car and racecar will appear in 2016 to mark the 50th anniversary of Ford GT racecars placing 1-2-3 at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. That year Ford beat Ferrari in the far faster and more expensive unlimited class. Ford went on to repeat its victory at Le Mans in 1967, 1968 and 1969 when the Europeans changed the rules to effectively ban the cars. Continue reading

Honda, Chevy Indy Car Aero Kits Revealed. Transformers?
Honda today debuted, as Chevrolet previously, packages of aerodynamic upgrades and components its teams will use on the spec Dallara chassis in the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series, one that Chevrolet dominated last season. The most radical looking package comes from Honda with the seeming aesthetics of Transformer toys. If so, these are serious adult toys. About 200 individual pieces can be fitted to the existing Honda-powered Dallara DW12. Continue reading

Ford Kicks off Racing Season with Win at Daytona
In only its second season, a heavily modified Ford EcoBoost engine has won the two most important endurance races in North America – the 2014 12 Hours of Sebring and the 2015 Rolex 24.
