Cadillac Formula 1 Team to Run in 2026
“We’re thrilled the Cadillac Formula 1 Team is official, as the team has been accelerating its work,” said GM President Mark Reuss. “We’re incredibly grateful for the support from the FIA and Formula One Management leadership for us and for our collaboration with TWG. The excitement only grows as we get closer to showcasing GM’s engineering expertise on the prestigious global stage of F1.”
The integration between TWG Motorsports (it also owns Spire Motorsports, Andretti Global and Wayne Taylor Racing – AutoCrat.) and GM creates a badly needed American team for is claimed to be a global series. Continue reading

Colton Herta joins Cadillac F1 Team
The Cadillac Formula 1 Team announced today that nine-time NTT IndyCar Series race winner Colton Herta will serve as a Test Driver as it prepares to join the F1 grid for the 2026 FIA Formula 1® World Championship season.
“We are delighted to welcome Colton Herta as a Test Driver,” said Graeme Lowdon, Team Principal, Cadillac Formula 1 Team. “Colton is an exceptionally talented racer with proven speed, race craft, and maturity well beyond his years.
