Honda Claims it will lead in Fuel Economy in All Classes within Three Years. New EVs and Hybrids Coming

The program is called “Earth Dreams Technology,” in a rough translation. It is actually a series of efficiency measures for engines, and transmissions, as well as electric-powered motors using existing or emerging technologies. 260 MPG Volkswagen XL1 Debuts at Qatar Motor Show

Volkswagen is showing a two-seat XL1 prototype this week at the Qatar Motor Show in Daho that it claims uses 0.9 liters of gasoline for every 100 km traveled, or more than 260 miles per gallon for the metrically challenged. Continue reading
