Chrysler Group said today that it is bringing Chrysler brand vehicles to shopping malls so potential customers can drive them in what is claimed to be a no pressure environment.
Shoppers will be able to drive the 2011 lineup, which includes the new, redesigned and 2011 200 sedan and 200 Convertible, the revised Chrysler 300 sedan and the innovative Chrysler Town & Country minivan.
The test-drive program will be held at malls across the country and will have product specialists to answer questions and provide information on Chrysler brand products without any sales pressure.
“With today’s busy schedules, it is important that the Chrysler brand makes the vehicle decision and research process more convenient and hands-on to consumers,” said Olivier Francois, President and CEO, Chrysler Brand.
People who test drive a Chrysler vehicle at an event may end up in a future Chrysler commercial (sounds like a version of Ford’s Swap My Ride, which started in 2007) and each will receive a $15 shopping mall gift card for completing a test-drive.
