GM, US Army to Build Off-Road Hydrogen Fuel Cell Colorado
In 2007, GM launched “Project Driveway,” a 119-vehicle fleet of hydrogen fuel cell-equipped Chevrolet Equinoxes that were driven in daily use for more than 3 million miles by more than 5,000 consumers. Toyota Turns Landfill Methane into Cars
Toyota’s Georgetown, Kentucky manufacturing plant will begin generating electricity from methane, a byproduct of garbage decomposition at the nearby Central Kentucky Landfill next week. Capturing and burning the methane is said by the EPA to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Continue reading

During 2010, Washakie issued more than 7.2 million Renewable Identification Numbers, aka RINs, and reported to EPA that it produced biodiesel associated with those RINs at its Plymouth, Utah refinery.
