Retail sales of special performance series Mustangs (GT350 and Bullitt) were up 39% in Q2 of this year, leading to an overall retail share gain for Mustang this year and increasing Mustang transaction pricing by $1,200 over a year-ago to $36,300 per car. The Stingray’s gasoline engine is Chevy’s next-generation 6.2L Small Block V8 LT2 engine, producing up to 495 horsepower (369 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque — the most horsepower and torque for any entry Corvette.
