Volkswagen Group To Build New Plant in Urumqi China

The Volkswagen Group and China First Automobile Group Corp (FAW) also agreed on plans to extend the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture originally set up in 1991 by another 25 years. Auto Dealer Profits Dropping in China

The Chinese auto market only grew by 5% during 2011, by far the lowest growth rate of the 21st century, as the communist central government deliberately slowed the economy in an attempt to fight inflation. Bentley Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Debuts in Beijing

Justice Department Seizes Counterfeit Chinese Sports Jerseys

The Department of Justice has seized more than $896,000 in proceeds from the distribution of Chinese made counterfeit sports apparel and jerseys as the result of an investigation into the sale of bogus goods on commercial websites. Volkswagen Group February Sales Up 15%, Europe Weak at 1%

American Airlines to Freeze not Kill Pensions in Union Victory

The so-called pension freeze covers unionized flight attendants and other ground workers, but does not cover American Airline pilots because their pension plan includes a lump-sum payment upon retirement. Chevrolet Volt Hybrids for China arrive at Shanghai
