The Next-Generation 2027 Silverado 1500 will be the most powerful and advanced Silverado, Chevrolet claimed today.* It will have the next-generation 5.7-liter and 6.6-liter V8 engines. It will continue to offer four powertrain options, including two next-generation V8s and an improved 2.7-liter TurboMax that delivers a claimed best-in-class standard torque (footnote 2), with a 10-speed transmission. At the heart of the new Silverado 1500 is its most capable and refined powertrain lineup ever, led by available next-generation 5.7-liter and 6.6-liter V8 engines. Building on Chevrolet’s performance legacy — including the recently announced Corvette LS6 6.7 -liter V8. These new engines will be assembled by the skilled teams at GM’s Flint Engine Operations, Tonawanda Propulsion (footnote 3) and St. Catharines Propulsion plants.

Every 2027 Silverado 1500 has a digital cockpit, with a new edge-to-edge display and a class-leading 16.3-inch center display (5) and 12.2-inch driver information center( 5) that are standard. On ZR2 and High Country, a claimed class-leading 11.5-inch front passenger screen comes standard paired with Heads-Up-Display and a rear camera mirror with more than 60 inches of digital displays.
