Bentley Testing Concierge Fuel Service in California
Owners open a Filld for Bentley app, choose a delivery time, and their fuel will be delivered wherever and whenever they require. This first-ever Connected Car integration means that customers don’t need to unlock the fuel cap themselves, or identify the car’s exact location as this is done for them securely through the Filld for Bentley service. Bentley predicts additional future benefits, including predictive fuel ordering where the car places an order for itself based on fuel level, location and customer preferences. Continue reading
Chinese-Made Junk – HAUS Mosquito Zapper, Toys R Us Pacifier
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said today that Chinese made HAUS Mosquito Zapper LED Light Bulbs pose and electrical shock hazard. The firm has received two reports of the bulb separating from the connector. No injuries or property damage have been reported. In addition, Toys ‘R’ Us is recalling Chinese-made Pacifier Clips due to choking hazard because the clip’s spring mechanism can break and release small parts. Continue reading
BMW 507 Driven by Elvis at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
The BMW 507 driven by Elvis Presley while he was doing military service in Germany is restored and will debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The 507 disappeared for nearly 50 years, and was believed to have been lost. After almost two years of restoration work, BMW Group Classic is presenting the roadster for the first time on 21 August 2016.
Elvis Presley used the BMW 507 to drive between his home in Bad Nauheim and the U.S. Army Base in Friedberg, Southern Germany. He was often mobbed by female fans. The paintwork of the roadster was frequently daubed with messages of love painted in lipstick. Continue reading

CFPB Scoffs at NADA FOIA Request on Auto Lending
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, aka CFPB, has rejected a Freedom of Information Act – FOIA – request by the National Automobile Dealers Association to release a memorandum that NADA alleges shows that the agency is seeking to exercise jurisdiction over auto dealers financing, which is prohibited under the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, also called Dodd-Frank. Deezer is one of the major music providers with more than 35 million tracks in its library. It is available in more than 180 countries worldwide.
