GM Sells 2.4 Million Vehicles in Q1 2015
During 2014 in global sales saw Toyota Number One, VW Group Number Two and GM having bragging rights to We’re Number Three. It appears to be a trend. VW Group posted sales of 2.49 million. Toyota reports sales later this week and is the odds on favorite to retain the Number One spot. Continue reading
Chevy Drops Spark EV Price by $1650
Chevrolet has cut its Spark EV 1LT suggested retail price to $25,995, a $1,650 discount. Depending on an individual’s tax situation, the Spark EV is eligible for federal tax credit up to $7,500. The subcompact EV is only sold in California, Oregon and Maryland. Nissan Leaf, the best-selling EV, sold nationally, starts at $29,860. Continue reading

Gen 9 Malibu Debuts in New York
The main selling point aside from sleek styling appears to fuel economy with the hybrid version at a GM-estimated 48 mpg city, 45 mpg highway, 47 mpg combined; now leading the segment. The Malibu’s standard 1.5-liter turbo powertrain is projected at 37 mpg highway. More Pricing Fits as Honda Cuts Fit EV Leasing Price
When first introduced during 2012 in California and Oregon, the Fit monthly lease only price was $399 for three years. The original leases would have expired this June. Honda only leased 1,069 Fit EVs between July 2012 and December 2014 during two model years, 2013 and 2014. Continue reading

Printing Green as PG&E wants to Monopolize Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
