Like the Corvette Racing C7.R race cars, the Grand Sport-based Drivers Series models have a naturally aspirated V8 engine. The 6.2L LT1 engine is rated at 460 horsepower (343 kW)- this is sub 4 seconds zero-60 mph ETs. Daytona 24 Hours Discounted 50% as Rain Marks Down Race

The race was red flagged and stopped at 12:40 p.m. At 2:26 p.m. Sunday IMSA threw in a very wet towel and waved the checkered flag to end the race as the field was parked under a red flag . The twice around the clock winners in all four classes were lounging about when the checkered flag was damply displayed with standing water on the track to end long periods of no racing. Unifor Boycott Threatens Damage for Ontario Workers GM Says

Bobby Rahal wins RRDC’s 2019 Phil Hill Award

Robert “Bobby” Woodward Rahal was born in Medina, Ohio, in 1953, and started in SCCA’s Formula Atlantic Series and then European Formula Two. In an 18-year career spanning F1, Can-Am, Le Mans/IMSA, and CART, Rahal won three CART championships, including the 1986 Indy 500 win, and wins at the 1981 24 Hours of Daytona and the 1987 12 Hours of Sebring.
