BMW Classic Partners Party in Dielsdorf August 10th
The process of certifying BMW Group authorized retailers and workshops as BMW Group Classic partners began in 2019. There are now 148 international partners. Support provided by BMW Group Classic headquarters in Munich for the local partners covers its full range of services, from assistance with technical issues, help with procurement of replacement parts, as well as re-manufacturing of specialist tools to provision of specific data/information from the BMW Group Archive and elsewhere. Bosch Buys HVAC businesses from Johnson Controls, Hitachi
The businesses Bosch wants to buy had sales revenue totaling ~€4 billion in 2023, employing ~12,000 people worldwide. The transaction includes 16 manufacturing sites and 12 engineering locations in more than 30 countries. The product portfolio covers vast HVAC products for residential and light commercial buildings. This includes brands such as York and Coleman in the U.S. and Hitachi in Asia, for which Bosch will be granted a long-term license. Continue reading

First Look – Cadillac SOLLEI EV Concept Convertible
Cadillac today showed an all-electric, 2+2 convertible dubbed pretentiously SOLLEI. It’s derived from sun – ‘SOL’ – and leisure – ‘LEI’. the exterior is finished in “Manila Cream,” a color originally used on Cadillacs in 1957 and 1958.
“SOLLEI reimagines the discovery of travel, envisioning a personalized driving experience that connects one with the natural world around them,” said Erin Crossley, design director, Cadillac. “The concept celebrates Cadillac’s pedigree of elegant convertibles in a modern form by cultivating high luxury through design expressions and experiences.” Continue reading
Hyundai 2025 Tucson – $29,750 to $48,485
The Tucson has a redesigned panoramic curved display that integrates an optional 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an enlarged 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display. A redesigned center stack includes the addition of supplementary knobs and switches for frequent-use controls including audio volume and tuning (copying a long standing Toyota and Lexus tradition). A new dashboard tray located above the glovebox adds storage space for front-seat passengers. Continue reading
