On the Fourth of July 1776 the Continental Congress after much debate issued our Declaration of Independence – our still continuing manuscript of then awakened American ideals. Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Roger Sherman and Robert R. Livingston – the so-called Committee of Five – did much of the enlightenment conceptual work. Jefferson, regarded as the most eloquent writer in the Congress, created one of our essential documents. It states that all of us equals could and would work at Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
These ideas that they were – in the course of human events – ultimately fighting for in our following War of Independence were bigger than the despots, Redcoats, Hessians and other mercenaries deployed against us. Chinese Light Vehicle Market Recuperating In May

During May 2024, the Chinese Light Vehicle (LV) market showed a firm uptick with continuous structural optimization, according to an analysis and data released by the respected GlobalData consultancy.* Within the LV segment, Passenger Vehicle (PV) sales, influenced by the high base of the same period last year, declined by 3.5% YoY, yet still accounted for 1.7 million units. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales totaled 222,000, a Year-over-Year decline of 0.6%.
“Domestic LV sales, excluding exports, reached 1.9 million units, marking a 3.2% year-on-year (YoY) decrease but a commendable 5.0% month-on-month (MoM) increase,” GlobalData said.** Continue reading →
